[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Philips HD4528/62 IH Rice Cooker is very different from the previous rice cooker that I own. I was impressed on the ease of using the rice cooker. The buttons on the cooker is rather self-explanatory and the cooker’s digital display indicates the time and the function that had been selected. I also thought that it was a nice touch for the cooker to emit a sound when the rice is ready. The rice that was produce is very fluffy and soft. The cooker was able to conduct the heat within the inner pot evenly such that every grain of rice had similar texture and consistency. We use it mainly for cooking rice and porridge. We will be exploring the other cooking options in the near future. And lastly cleaning the cooker is very easy. All in all, I strongly recommend this cooker to my friends and family. This cooker is simple to use, cooks nice tasting soft rice and easy to clean. It helps to make life that much more simpler.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My experience started with the unboxing, super easy to install. Just had to clean the inner pot, the cup and you can start! Really nice design and the rice cooker doesn't take too much space in the kitchen compare to my previous one. Also, as the design is really nice and modern, I don't have to hide it when I have guests at home for dinner. I also really appreciate how easy it is to use and the different cooking modes. I finally can eat really good rice at home. The brown rice tastes fantastic which is a real revolution for me! Last but not least, it is extremely easy to clean. No sticky or burnt rice in the inner pot. I definitely recommend this rice cooker.

Loved the multiple functions - able to cook soup, porridge, brown rice, white rice, etc. I tried using the porridge function and the results is amazing. The fluffiness of the porridge was just nice and the fragrance was there. Another feature that I like is the automatic timer that were preset for each of the cooking functions. It comes in handy for cooking newbies like me; I no longer have to google the duration to cook white rice or porridge or brown rice. Excellent invention. Have always been impressed with Philips' products and this rice cooker is definitely something not to be missed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first time using an IH rice cooker. It is different from what other rice cooker I have used. The large digital display clearly indicated time and the selected functions. White and brown rice are easily used with a single button. The black and smooth exterior make.cleaning a breeze. The inner pot is heavy and impressive. Philips state that the coating contains minerals and trace elements which are all essential to a healthy human body; 5-layer iron pot with superior heat conductivity and durable. It looks durable and retain heat well. The marking for both white and grain rice are marked clearly for proper cooking. The rice and steam holder is great without complaint. My only complaint I have is the lack of information of the 10 vs 13 programs available on HD4535/62.

Cooking porridge is not a hasle as I do not need to look after the fire. Turn out is amazing and tasty porridge. I will definitely recommend it to all who want to save the hassle of cooking. Just throw in the ingredients, set the timer and your meal is beautifully prepared by this equipment!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Due to the strong power distribution from the ispiral IH technology, my meals are well cooked evenly. The iron pot is my favorite as it is durable and non toxic. The digital display is easy to read and use. And cooking time is reduced due to the induction heating technology. I can easily cook beans and soup efficiently and I m very impressed by how easy it is to clean out the pot. There is no spillage and I like the spiral effect of the iron pot within the rice cooker.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The unboxing of the rice cooker was simple in just a few steps. The content comes with all the necessity to cook your rice. A measuring cup, a rice scoop, a divider for steaming and the inner bowl. Just need to rinse out the inner bowl and its ready to start cooking. Its that easy. The top of the menu dash shows different modes that can be use for cooking different type of dishes. Brown, Stew, Soup, etc. Its very convienently thought of as the traditional rice cooker can only used to cook rice and that's about it. There are also timer setup so that you can plan when to start cooking. To start cooking just pour in the rice and on the top menu dash press the white button and start button. The cooking time for white rice is 45mins and count down at 15 mins mark for putting in the divder if you want to steam egg or heat up some food. My whole family of 6 person was delighted as the rice was cooked fast and well done. No burnt or sticky rice remains at the bottom of the inner bowl.

However, after a few weeks of usage, we are very pleased with its performance. We tried different functions to cook rice, soups and even desserts. Very well pleased with the results and the quality of the food.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Made multi-usage with the cooker. First we cooked a mixed brown rice. Cooked perfectly but took a little long. 1 hour. After the rice is cooked, we took it out and place in a plate. Subsequently we tried to rice cooker fried rice. We prepared all the ingredients, prawns, cabbage, chicken, onion, mushroom, fishcake. added oil into the pot. then put in the onions. Then the rest of the ingredients. Cover the pot. Then we used the steam function to change the timing and we cooked them for 10 minutes. The ingredients cooked perfectly too. Smells really good. We open the cover, added some soy sauce, some salt and some pepper, then we added the cooked rice, and then mixed them thoroughly in the pot. Then we close the lid and cook them for another 5 minutes and then keep the fried rice in keep warm mode. Had dinner after that. The rice taste fantastic. Highly recommend this rice cooker for multi-function cooking. Will try making soup and porridge also.
