If your Philips Tower Fan gets too loud, find possible causes and solutions here.
The fan speed level is high
By design, your Philips Tower Fan minimises the noise produced by the operation of the motor and fan. However, you may hear it when trying to sleep or in a quiet room. The higher the fan speed setting of the appliance, the louder the noise will be. In that case, you can reduce the noise by lowering the fan speed.
Loud in Sleep Mode
To optimise cooling performance in Sleep mode, the Philips Tower Fan runs at a higher fan speed for the first 30 minutes, gradually decreasing to a lower fan speed. The noise reduces accordingly.
To reduce the noise level of the appliance, you could also choose the lowest fan speed in Normal Mode.
Foreign objects in the air outlet
If something drops into the air outlets, it may cause an abnormally loud sound. Immediately turn off the appliance and get the foreign object(s) out of the appliance.
After trying the above, if the abnormal sound continues, please turn off the appliance and contact us for further assistance.
