Do I need a Philips Bluray 3D player to watch 3D?

To enjoy your 3D ready TV you need a device that is able to play 3D content. Currently Blu-ray 3D is the best source on the market which can support 3D. 3D will be broadcasted and other media devices will be able to support 3D, but we believe that Blu-ray offers the best possible quality, delivering on our promise of a truly immersive cinematic viewing experience. Until that time it is only possible to watch 3D with a connected Blu-ray 3D player or Blu-ray 3D Home Theatre System. Note: If an HDMI repeater or receiver will be used, the device must be HDMI 1.4 compliant and cables must be High Speed HDMI cables.
