How to connect my Philips player to my home network?

It is possible to connect your Philips player to your Home network with an Ethernet cable.

Please check:

  • You have a standard, CAT5 Ethernet cable. It is not provided with your player * You are using a Universal Plug and Play (uPnP) router, and the router is switched on * Your computer and player are connected to the same network * Your computer and router firewall are properly set and allow media sharing

How to connect

  1. Connect an Ethernet cable to your router and your player The lights on the Ethernet connector flash when the router is connected and switched on. 2. Switch on your TV and go to the correct source for your player 3. On your player remote control, press Home button (see image below) and select Setup > Network > Network Installation, and then press OK 4. Select Wired (Ethernet) and press OK 5. Follow the instructions on TV, choosing the default options to set up your connection
