Love this paci - doesn’t glow for long.My daughter has ALWAYS used and loved this style pacifier. I have one of “those babies” that has me up at least twice a night to replace it when it falls out so I was excited to see the glow in the dark design as she has recently learned to put the pacifier in her mouth (if she could find it). These do in fact glow in the dark but unfortunately it doesn’t last very long and by the time it falls out in the night the glow is gone. Excellent idea - requires fine tuning :)

Nice Pacifiers, but the Glow in the Dark feature doesn't work for long.I received these pacifiers for free in exchange for my honest review. The neat thing about them is that the handle on them glows in the dark. It sounded cool at first, then I remembered that most things that glow in the dark only do so for a little while before it needs to be "recharged" with light so that it can glow again. The same is true for these. But it's still a neat feature for when the baby is trying to fall asleep. If he drops it early on, he can have a little help finding it.
They are sturdy, well made pacifiers that will last him for a while. I also like that they come with a cover to be used when traveling with them. This protects them from getting any gunk on them while in my diaper bag or purse.

Bad designI bought to my son a pacifier model (Philips Avent Night Time Pacifiers SCF176 / 22 6-18m BPA-Free Orthodontic & Glow-in-the-dark handle 2-pack) and her design is not good. It have only the cut to one side for the nose. And sometimes my son turn around the pacifier to the side that does not have the cut. So he ends up with the side that does not have the cut on the nose. His nose is a little red sometimes. I would like the AVENT send me a better model. What about the glow in the dark, it lasts very little. when my son sleeps, shines not more. Improve the design of this model, please.

Does not glowMy daughter loves the dummy's and we only buy avent but I'm extremely disappointed that they do not glow in the dark. We tried natural sun light and have even gone to the extent of buying a uv torch but still they only glow for 5 mins. Also would be nice if they came in girlie colours to.

Glow in the dark is a clever feature, though not perfectLike many other parents, I find myself groping for pacifiers in the middle of the night. I received these pacifiers for free in exchange for writing this review, and I when I first saw them, I was very excited about the glow-in-the-dark feature. However, the main thing you should know about the glow-in-the-dark feature is that it's the same glow-in-the-dark technology that has been around for decades. If the pacifier gets a lot of light, it will glow brightly for a few minutes, then slowly taper off over the course of maybe 30-60 minutes. So, it doesn't help you find the pacifier in the wee sma's, but I would say that it's still a clever idea and still helpful. My son (or I) can at least find it more easily when he is first put to bed and is still awake, playing, crying, whatever, before he falls asleep. As for the pacifier itself, it's standard. Size is fine for my 15 month old, and it's nice that it can be used in either orientation because the nipple is symmetrical. My son does seem to have a slight preference for nipples that turn upward slightly, but it's not a strong preference, and the symmetrical ones are nice during the night when you can't see them well.

Quality PacifiersI received the Philips Avent Nighttime Pacifiers for free in exchange for an open and honest review of the product.
We have several of the ‘regular’ Avent pacifiers at home. These are similar with a few slight differences. The ‘regular’ Avent pacifiers do not have a ‘right side up’. I have always liked that about these pacifiers because I (or my child) can quickly grab a pacifier and put it in their mouth and it does not matter which way it is. The nighttime pacifiers do have a correct and incorrect way. Although it does not matter for the nipple portion of the pacifier, the plastic portion has a notch out of the top allowing space for the child’s nose and the bottom is rounded without the notch. My child has put it in upside down and does not seem bothered by it but it does look funny because it is clearly upside down. I would prefer that these nighttime pacifiers were like the ‘regular’ ones and could be put in their mouth either way.
The ring on the pacifier is glow-in-the-dark. The ring initially glows nicely, but as with many glow-in-the-dark items, it loses it glow quickly after the lights go out. By the time my child or myself is searching for it in the middle of the night, it has lost its glow and does not aide in finding it at nighttime as advertised.
I love the handy snap-on cover! I like to snap it on to prevent purse lint getting on it or fuzz/lint from my coat pocket, etc. It is very convenient and keeps it somewhat sanitary. In addition I also like that these pacifiers do not leave a ring around my child’s mouth.
We have loved Avent pacifiers and have had great success with them. They are quality pacifiers and I would recommend them to others.

glow in the dark didn't workI brought a pack of these along with the normal avent dummies for my new born he took to avent dummies straight away. The dummy its self is fine but only glows in the dark for around 5 minutes after been in the day light all day which I am very disappointed about.

Great paci for anytime of day but especially helpful at nightI received a two pack of Avent's nighttime toddler pacifiers in order to facilitate my review. All thoughts are my own.
My son uses a paci to fall asleep but often throws it outside his crib or drops it once sleeping. That makes it hard for me to find it quickly and quietly when I go to comfort him during his nighttime wakings. The glow in the dark handle on these packs are perfect for locating them in the dark. I've also seen him wake and locate his own glowing paci and lay back down in his crib.
I also love the ease at which you can connect this paci to any sort of clip with the nice handle. It stops those toddler games of drop the paci at the worst time ever! This set is for 6-18mo and seems like a nice fit for that age range. They are high quality and have a cute design. A mini bonus, these come with a plastic piece that's meant to be thrown away that we ended up reusing and keeping. It snaps directly over the nipple portion and keeps it clean from stray messes in the diaper bag.
