Can I use a Philips Avent breast pump after a C-section?

Even after a caesarean section, it is possible to breastfeed and express successfully. It may, however, take a bit longer for you and your baby to begin breastfeeding, and your milk might come in a bit later following the caesarean section.

You do not have to lean forward with a Philips Avent breast pump. You can sit up straight in a comfortable, natural position. Ask your midwife, GP, lactation specialist or breastfeeding advisor for support in starting to breastfeed, to make it as comfortable as possible for you and your baby after the operation.
