There are so many choices to wade through when you become a parent. And if you plan to bottle feed, you’ll probably have questions about the best bottle for you and your baby’s needs. This site aims to answer some of your questions by explaining the features of different bottle materials currently available on the market. Let’s take a closer look at the materials from which you can choose.
PA is a premium plastic; it has the transparency and stain proof scratch resistant properties of glass, while also being lightweight and shatterproof. So you get the best of both worlds. Easy to sterilize, contains 0% BPA1 and 0% BPS2, and dishwasher and bottle warmer safe. Our Classic+ Premium Plastic bottle’s Airflex venting system and textured teat is designed to minimize feeding interruptions and discomfort. With its integrated clinically proven anti-colic valve, air is vented into the bottle and away from the baby’s tummy, to help reduce colic and fussing. Important to note: Polyamide (PA) is a high quality plastic, which is sensitive to certain anti-bacterial substances, such as alcohol. Therefore, in order to keep your PA bottle looking brand-new, we recommend to clean the bottle with mild soap and warm water (without alcohol – please check the ingredient list), along with the Philips Avent steam sterilizer. In case you use more abrasive cleansers, your bottle will be still safe to use but it might have a slight change in transparency
Naturally contains 0% BPA1, our borosilicate glass bottles are very durable. Heat and thermal shock resistant, you can transfer them safely from fridge to microwave. Easy and safe to sterilize, Philips Avent Natural glass bottles are dishwasher safe and completely stain-resistant. Our Natural bottle helps make bottle feeding more natural for your baby. The nipple features an innovative petal design for natural latch - similar to the breast, making it easy for you to combine breast and bottle feeding for your baby.
Our PP bottles are recognizable by their milky hue and smooth texture. These flexible and sturdy bottles are lightweight, shatterproof as well as being dishwasher, microwave and bottle warmer safe. Like all our bottles, PP contains 0% BPA1.
