5.1 Home theater

This is a great system. 600 Watts RMS, fast to setup and use, great bass and clear sound, easy to use with TV/Sky box (5.1 or stereo), USB port for videos-music-photos, HD upscaling for great picture quality and over all a amazing home cinema system for the price.

These speakers are a fantastic upgrade to your current home living room TV setup. The sound quality is excellent and you really feel immersed in your living room.

Set up was very easy, the rear speakers (on pedestals) are the optimum height for ease of listening and come with plenty of cable to feed round an average room, there could be more control over rear speaker volume, but overall the system is excellent value for money at the price I paid. The installation manual, by use of graphics and text was very easy to follow. Surround sound really excels when watching a DVD,super picture quality. The built in FM radio is a very welcome addition to this system. Very happy with my purchase.

Very good value for money. The sound system is good even when room is big. Product is easy to use and setting up is very easy with the quick start manual.

It was very easy ro hook up. Very light and easy to move, especially for my lifestyle because I like to rearrange often.

but no blue ray rom and USB port only support limited format playback file.

I purchased this product to replace a much more expensive Denon home cinema sytem which packed up after 5 years. Although the Philips system is more basic with less features, the sound quality is just as good and the picture is better as it has HDMI output with upscaling to 1080p. It is just a shame I couldn't just buy the main unit as I didn't need the speakers. The Denon speakers are less obstrusive although the Philips units sound fine. Overall good value, especially at the reduced price.

Value for money and a good buy. Design nice and sleek.
