How to install my Philips Wireless Spotlight Camera
Important information before getting started:
- Please have your Wi-Fi network name and password at hand.
- Make sure that your mobile device is running IOS 15 or higher or Android 8 or higher.
- Only connect to a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network. (5 GHz network not supported).
How to install and mount the wireless spotlight camera
- Download the Philips Home Safety app.
- Open the rubber back cover to locate the charging port.
- Option 1: connect to a power source with the charging cable.
- Option 2: connect to the Philips Solar Panel HSP5810* for power.
- Open the other part of the rubber cover to reveal the reset button and microSD card slot.
- Pair the camera by following the steps in the app. To put the camera in pairing mode, press the Reset button for 5 seconds and wait for audio feedback.
- (Optional) Insert a microSD card.
Mounting:
- Fully charge the camera. You can see the battery status in the live feed in the app.
- Use the drilling template to mark the fixing points.
- We recommend a height of 2-3 metres above the ground.
- Drill the holes and insert the anchors for hard surfaces.
- Fit the bracket, securing it in place with the screws.
- Attach the camera base by twisting it onto the bracket.
- Screw the camera onto the base.
- Avoid placing the camera near swaying trees.
- Avoid placing the camera in front of intense light sources such as direct sunlight or bright lamps.
- Avoid placing the camera near outlets, including those for air conditioners, humidifiers or projector heat vents.
- Choose a quiet location to conserve battery power and avoid crowded areas with excessive noise.
