What is the Tamper Alarm on my Philips Wireless Doorbell Spotlight Camera?

Published on 04 August 2024
Your Philips Wireless Video Doorbell and Philips Wireless Spotlight Camera come equipped with a Tamper Alarm feature. A siren will sound, and a notification will be sent to you if, for example, someone tries to pull it off the wall. Find how to enable/disable the feature in our article below.

To turn the Tamper Alarm on or off, follow these steps:

  1. Go to "Devices".
  1. Tap "Settings" for a specific device.
  1. Tap "Detection"
  1. Toggle "Tamper Alarm" on or off.

Dismounting your Camera to charge it will trigger the Tamper Alarm. Always deactivate the Tamper Alarm when you dismount the device to stop the alarm from sounding.
