Why am I asked to connect to the network when I start my Philips Net TV or Browse PC or IP-EPG?

Make sure your connection is set to 'wireless'.

Go to 'home', 'setup', 'network settings', and select 'network type'.

This must be set to 'wireless' in case you use the wireless module PTA01, or an internal wireless function (typenumbers xxPFL9705).

It must be set to 'wired' if you make connection via a cable to the TV via the Ethernet network connector on the back of the TV.
