Handheld garment steamer

I hate ironing and my husband bought me this product- loved it from the first use! I’ve become an expert at drying clothes to produce the least ironing but certain items, especially shirts, you just have to- very impressed with how straightforward , lightweight, quick and easy it is to use and after a little practice the outcome is amazing. The only (tiny) gripe is having to refill the water tank often but we’ll worth it. I’d thoroughly recommend this steamer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Philips GC300 Steamer is supplied in a set with two operating instructions: short, basic and full, detailed and tip equipped with a brush. HOW THE STEAMER PHILIPS GC300 WORKS Before connecting to the electrical socket, fill the water container, disconnecting it from the device, pouring through a small hole, closing and mounting back into the steamer. The transparent material from which the container was made allows you to observe the amount of water remaining to be used. The unit is adapted to pouring tap water, but in the case of a high degree of its hardness, the manufacturer recommends using distilled water, which will prolong the life of the device and prevent premature scaling, especially since you can not add descaling agents or vinegar water to your steamer. After filling the water container, you can connect the device to the power supply. The ready for work will be after approx. 45 seconds and although no diode informs about it, in practice they are connected to the power supply and the warming up time is a time that can simply be used to remove clothes from the wardrobe. The first steam jet should be directed into the air by means of the steam burst button, as it may contain drops of water which would help the pressed fabric. Do not direct the face towards the face and do not put unprotected clothes under ironing (eg using a kitchen glove) ) hands, because the steam flow is strong and, of course, hot. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used the steamer on some of my garments and was impressed on how it worked. Got out some wrinkles from my tops it was easy to handle in my hand. Took a bit to get the hang of it.it didn’t need a lot of water in the tank so it was light weight.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I actually took it on holiday as travel irons are rubbish and the steamer was light and easy to use especially as we had no ironing board in our hotel room so I just hung the clothes up and steamed them before putting them in the wardrobe. Wish I had found this sooner as it was quick and easy no more using a towel on the floor on holiday going away again in a few weeks and this is definitely going with us . Also as we are having such hot weather in England I washed all our curtains and steamed them once back up they look amazing no more creases from struggling to use an ironing board . Amazing product

It has been so handy to freshen up pre ironed clothes that have been crammed & creased in our small wardrobe. Where using an iron and ironing board, ironing feels like a chore but with the steamer it is a joy to use and is so easy & convenient than having to get the ironing board out each time to use. I just hung the garments from a door handle with a coat hanger and the steamer did it’s job in seconds and each garment was back in pristine condition. Even my teenagers enjoyed using it! I would highly recommend to anyone who hates ironing.
