My Philips SteamCleaner Multi does not release steam

This can have several causes:

Let the steamer heat up for approx. 45 seconds. When the light goes out, the steamer is ready for use.

Press the steam trigger fully.

Unplug the steamer and refill the water tank.

Insert the water tank properly.

Hold the steamer in the upright position.

This steamer is designed to be used in an upright position on hanging garments. Do not use the steamer in a horizontal position or on garments in a horizontal position.

1. The steamer has not heated up sufficiently

2. You have not pressed the steam trigger fully

3. The water level in the water tank is too low

4. The water tank is not in place

5. You are holding the steamer upside down, which makes it impossible for the steamer to suck up water from the water tank

6. You are holding the steamer in a horizontal position on the garment on a flat surface
