As the owner of several Phillips shavers I can say that this Star Wars edition offers a very thorough shave. In fact it is almost comparable with a wet shave. Also I liked the speed and long shaving time from one charge.

I have not had a Philips shaver for about 30 years, so when i first shaved with this one, i was impressed not only with the quality of the shave, but also how quiet and light it was. While it was never going to shave as close as a wet shave, the results were very good, it was like i had wet shaved a few hours ago, and the stubble was just starting to appear. After using a set of clippers to shave all my hair off, I also shaved my head with it, and that was also a close shave. The only problem i had with it is the on/off switch is placed where you can accidentally switch it off, which i did several times, but i'm sure this is just because i am new to this shaver.

I have had many electric shavers over the years, Brauns, and Philips and this 6700 Star Wars was my latest purchase, ordered it last Friday 15th December 2017 and it arrived Monday 18th now that's service. It is beautiful to look at and feels great to hold, now I have what I can only describe as a rough face skin wise, so was not expecting the comfortable shave this new one gave me, against a Braun shaver costing over 3 times as much this Philips 6700 wins hands down 10/10 against the Braun 6/10. Don't just think the Star wars is a gimmick because underneath is a real nice and easy to use shaver, well chuffed :)

Before using this shaver I typically used to wet shave. I was therefore sceptical that an electric shaver would be able to give the same level of close shave that wet shaving provides. I was however very impressed that the SW6700 did provide an extremely close shave without any chance of cuts. All in all a fantastic product with great packaging and fun star wars design.

I've used this shaver a number of times now and found it to be a great experience each time. The shaver comes with two head fittings, the charger, and a handy travel case. Both the trimmer and shaver attachments are very straightforward to use and appear to be of a high build quality. It offers a surprisingly close shave with no discomfort or cuts to the skin. Though I have found the quality is improved with the use of a shaving foam. The battery life is impressive, since the initial charge there has been no loss of power at all after 5 shaves. The travel case is useful, though it is slightly too small to fit the shaver and the trimmer attachment.
