Nice tone, comfortable to wear, can walk anywhere in the house without losing sound, have also been outside. Multi use is also a bonus, one set of headphones for TV and music

Excellent sound quality. No static or interference. I agree with some of the other reviewers that the charging station is a little bit fiddley but it takes two seconds to make sure it's on correctly so this isn't really a big deal. Outperforms some more expensive brands we have owned! Headset is comfortable.

easy to install and instant sound without any installation worries. loud and clear minus a star as might not fit all ear type

Bought a pair of these and they're great! The only problem is that you can't have someone else listening when I'm watching my TV. Could Just be my TV..... Comfortable, affordable and overall an Excellent buy

I like everything about these head phones however only had for 2 days. My complaint is that they hurt my ears. My head is a size small so should be loose if anything but the opposite is true. Any suggestions?

Battery replacement is not possible because they are not available and other rechargeable batteries will not recharge.

I have used these headphones for 4 or 5 years. They have always performed well. The rechargeable batteries failed and I replaced them with disposable batteries. They work fine.

I purchased these headphones to stop annoying the close neighbours. Sound is great and they do the job Disappointing that we cannot run more than one set from the unit so when the kids visit TV must blare out. Also the rechargeable batteries no longer work and this model will (apparently) not re-charge standard rechargeable batteries. I have NO idea where I can get a pair of replacement Phillips batteries. The fact that the docking station does not charge other batteries is a REAL downer! Any one here have any ideas where I can purchase an original pair of Phillips batteries? Any assistance is gratefully appreciated. p.s. To above user - ear pads available on Ebay cheap as but from China

I've had the SHD8600 for over 3 years and have been very pleased with its performance. The sound is outstanding and I can even go to the loo without missing a thing on the TV!! However, for some reason last year the ear pads just disintegrated - literally overnight. Much to my surprise I just can't get replacement ear pads. I've been trying to get them for the past 6 months. I don't want to throw out a perfectly functioning product just because I can't get replacement ear pads! Even though it's an outstanding product, I would be reluctant to get another pair just because you can't get a simple replacement part like ear pads

Ear cups are flimsy. Glasses tend to shred them. Chat isn't available as purported.
