Philips AventEssential baby food maker

I love this product as it helps me a lot in preparing my baby first food. I have downloaded the Philips Easy Weaning apps at my phone and I found the contents and tips given were very helpful especially for a new mother like me. The manual inside the apps also much more easier to understand. I was very eager to try this product because it is 2 in 1 where it can blend and steam the baby’s food in one container and it does not require me to change to other machine. I can entertain my baby while waiting for the food to be ready. The most important thing that I like is the end product is full of nutrient which is good for my baby’s development. The product also was very light and easy to clean and assemble back. I would prefer this product for travel purpose as it have dual function. Overall, this product has exceeded my expectation and I felt very lucky to have the opportunity to try it.

This is the first time i use baby food maker. Usually i blend the food and heat it up or vice versa depends on the food i make. Heating the food too much can eliminate the nutrient in the food. it take a lot of trouble to make a simple food. After using this product, i find it easy to use and save my time. Just blend the food and steam it using the same product. very convenient indeed. The product come with manual. You can find many recipes for healthy food in the manual. Thanks Philips.

Philips Avent Essential Food Processor, a well-built, easy to use processor that is essential for anyone who wants to prepare yummy and healthy food for their baby. I highly recommend it! I have used 2 different food processors and was thrilled to try this when I received it. Built - Very sturdy and good quality. Everything fits well and movements are smooth. Usability - Easy like 1-2-3. However, I do prefer to be able to steam the food and blend immediately (without having to remove the steam basket and pour the food into the blending jar). Steaming - Doesn't have a timer. You'd have to monitor the steaming time. Steaming doesn't produce a certain smell (like burnt plastic, which I encountered using other food processors). Steam/blender Cover - I'm a right-handed. I find opening and closing the jar a little counter intuitive. Just takes some getting used to. Washing - Relatively easy to clean. Comparing to other machines I've used, I would say this is quite easy to clean Blending - I would prefer the blending to be a button instead of a knob. Noise - Bearable. The noise produced while blending isn't disruptive and it didn't scare my baby Water tank - Large and easy to clean. Steaming/Blending Jar - Pretty big comparing to other food processors. You can prepare more food and store it.

As a mother of two little baby, I always concern to provide good and healthy food for them. Trying out Philip baby food maker was an amazing experience for me. Why? It is easy to use. Simply add on water and the food ingredient and then just press the button. That its! Within a couple of time, the food was ready. I personally try out sweet potatoes steam about 15 minutes, test out the food myself. It was evenly cooked and the taste was well maintain. The best thing about the product is it was made for meal preparation from baby to toddler. With the combination of steam and blend, I could prepare my eldest's meal by simple steam them and meantime prepare my youngest's meal by taking out some of food and blend it. The blade of the blender is super sharp, I have personally try out with some chicken meat and broccoli. It just puree them within a minutes. There are recipe book and time guidance for steaming food ingredient inside the manual book. Now I can simply prepare any food from a simple dessert to a main meal to my baby without worry the quality of the food. I have try out the Happy broccoli ever after (salmon and broccoli) recipe myself, the food quality all are well retain. It eventually turn me into a professional chef. I am happy to have this little magic cup with me simplify my life in preparing meal.

I received my long awaited VIP package yesterday and I love it so much. It is a really amazing product as it makes it very easy to prepare nice and healthy baby food. this is my first time using this steamer with blender. i found out this is easy to used and time saving.. the instruction are easy to understand with the illustrated picture shown at the box.. easy to assemble and easy to wash the downsize of this product it doesn't have timer to alert user but overall i like this product

This is my first time making baby food. I highly recommend it because is so easy to use and is so healthy that the nutrition of the food maintained. Assembling and use the food maker is easy. There are a lot of safety locks and and warning sign as clear guidelines. Worry-free to use this than using traditional steaming which use a lot of tools to complete the cooking including blending. Food nutrition is guaranteed! While steaming the Apple, the juice also drop into the blending jar. I can use a little juice for blending and the remaining can store in fridge as 100% fruit juice to consume later. Nothing is waste at all. Therefore the nutrition is still there. Cleaning is much faster as I do not need to clean steaming rack and blender which the hassle part is big blender to blend a little food. Dissembling the parts is easy and I do save a lot of time after cooking. Overall I do recommend this product, 1. is small to fit in your kitchen 2. Is super easy to use even for a new mom 3. Save time to clean as you only clean 1 tool. 4. It provides spatula to take out hot food and steering the blending food. Considerate to the consumer! I’m now even motivate to prepare more healthy food for my baby daily!

It's a life saviour for a new mum like me as I'm trying to give the best for my baby even with such a busy schedule. Eased my mind and saved me time when I now can give nutritional food for every meal without having to freeze and thaw like I used to. After a week of trying it out, I could say I'm addicted, with its simple function and elegant design, it completes my kitchen needs. I no longer need to worry to prep meals and make wastage as I could cook in a small portion each time without much hassle. Here's what I love about it: 1. Easy to use 2. Works like a charm 3. Simple assembling and dissembling 4. Compact & elegant design 5. Could leave it be and attend to it when I want 6. The blades could be attached and detached easily for cleaning But there is still a con 1. There should be an easier way to discard the unused water in the steamer tank then having to pour it out. Overall that's pretty much I have to say, I found a few recipes that I'm eager to try out. You can find recipes in their manual also. Thinking to write a longer review later.

Different textures – A spoon weaned baby need to graduate from smooth textures to mashes and chunks. Allows us to do this easily with the turn of a dial. More nutrients – Steaming food helps to retain more nutrient than boiling. Some vitamins such as B & C can retain around 80% of the nutrients compared to only 40% when boiled. Homemade baby food also means we know our baby’s food is fresh and not full of additives or flavourings. Saves money – We can save a lot off our food shopping by making homemade food for our baby rather than buying shop bought jars each week. Plus as baby grows they can start to enjoy the same home cooked meals as the rest of the family. Easy to clean - If we only use the one appliance to do all the making then we cut down on cleaning times. And it also a dishwasher safe for convenient cleaning. However, we were a bit disappointed that it doesn’t have a timer function so we need to manually monitor how long it’s on for as it won’t automatically switch off.
