Shaver series 5000Wet and dry electric shaver

I finally enjoyed a clean shave using this shaver, perfect shaver for me!

Great product, very close shave. Recommend to all men.

A good product with design improvement. More hygiene, more ergonomic design. The shaver itself is good in reliability . Just one common failue I face on previous 2 models I owned, the degradation of insulation layer of the charger wire. The insulation layer broke into pieces n wire exposed over time. Hope it won't happen again on this model.

I received the electric shaver late last week. As far as i can recall, this is the second electric shaver i used in my life. The first one i ever owned was purchased about 18 years but it did not meet my expectation, so i ended up using a normal razor instead almost every morning. After a while, i decided to quit shaving every morning after constantly suffering cut and bruises while shaving and ended up doing less than once a week shaving instead. When I got the this shaver, the first thinking i have was whether this going to work as expected or not. Once charged up, I immediately tried shaving after not doing so for few days. Surprisingly, the shaver got most of the hair on the 1st try. The next day, i tried it again lightly and walla, i was clean shaven. I did not even need to use the razor blade at all. Since the day i got it last week, I have maintained my clean shaven appearance so far by shaving every single morning using only the electric shaver. Few good things i can say about the shaver; it is wonderfully light, quiet and effortless. It does look sporty as well with the chosen color. It's kind to my sensitive skin, doesn't bite and pleasure to use. Plus it's waterproof. The battery, i believe last quite long. I had it fully charged for about an hour and so far, the item still works after using it about 6 times. Each usage lasted about 2-5 minutes. Cleaning the head is easy, just running it under a tap water for few minutes would be enough. Overall, the product exceed my personal expectation for an electric shaver.

This is the first time i using electric shaver , before that usually i m using traditional shaver . It easy to use after a quick charge for 5 min also can use even the shaver is out of battery . The shaver blade is safe wont bite skin or get hurt even close to skin(in rushing using traditional shaver sometime will get hurt) . It come together with another trim head for make a style in ur beard . It make me easy in future because no need to change the shaver blade .

Had this last Friday and decided to give it a go. It glides so smoothly and I like the fact that it can be used after a few minutes of charging. I've never used an electric shaver before this as I would usually opt for the normal razor. It's totally easier and saves a lot of time. Besides that, the blades can be replaced after two years which is cost efficient rather than buying disposable shavers like I normally would do. It works wet and dry which is another advantage. Would definitely recommend it to other people.

Shaving Effort - With conventional razors, you can literally feel the sharp blades running across your face. The S5070 doesn't make your feel that. The ComfortCut blades glide smoothly whether it's dry or wet shave so you don't have to worry about leaving embarrassing shaving scars on your chin. This is indeed a good shaver from those who are new to electric shavers. While conventional razors might take away all the stubs in one or two passes, you may need to do multiple passes with the S5070. I supposed this is the trade off, either fast clean shave but with the risk of decorating your face with bloody lines or have a slow and steady shave that will still gives you the clean shave and of course minus the dreaded cuts. One tip to get all the stubs is to run the shaver in circular motions. Remember this shaver is smooth and comfortable to your skin, so you do not need to worry about irritating your skin with this multiple circular passes. Convenience - The S5070 takes 1 hour to a full charge and gives you 40+ minutes of running time as this writer has tested. There is a battery usage indicator that will tell you when to plug the shaver to power source. The provided trimmer clicks nicely onto the body of the shaver to let you do perfect lines on your moustache and sideburns. Both the blades and trimmer is easy to clean as well. Just open the cap (in the case of the blades) and run water through it. Let it dry up and you are good to go again. Click and hold the power button will lock the shaver in case you want to pack it for travelling or simply preventing your little ones from playing with the shaver. Certainly you don't want it to run out of juice when you need it the most. All in all, this is a perfect shaver for those looking to move away from conventional razors. Comfortable, easy to use and leaves no mess. Pros: - confidence inspire body for that gives you perfect control - comfortable and smooth shaving without worrying about cutting yourself - price that won't break your bank Cons: - need multiple passes for a clean shave. Then again, slow and steady will still win the race! - doesn't come with a travel pouch but it does have the protective cap to protect the blades.

A bit of preamble information about me - have not been using electric shaver for few years as my previous Philips Shaver was not retaining battery when charged partly and also another brand which I will not mentioned. The reason being as I got older my facial hair has been getting coarser and by no means hairy like I hope to be which result in getting tug or pull while still not getting a clean shave. Another annoyance for not using electric shaver is not getting a smooth shave and bruised skin which is partly due to my facial hair getting coarser . Delighted when I tried this Philips S5070/04 :- - almost perfect shave and pretty happy as a kite and only coming in second to my favorite barber shop which I frequent twice a week to get my shaving done .( Dry shave) - Perfect shave when used with shaving cream and cost saving and no more barber shop shaving unless need to get a old school barber massage or neck snapping.( Wet shave) - the shape of the overall shaver is pleasingly sexy imho and the way the hand held angle and design is ergonomic and lastly no more bruised chin. - love the lighting indicator when it is charging - another plus point is the auditory or noise level when shaving is not too annoying or loud as my old shaver. Will I recommend to my friends this Philips S5070/04? BIG YES and highly deserved especially for those who are on the move and busy . Almost perfect shave (DRY shave) and for me perfect shave ( WET shave with shaving cream) . The cost of shaver and the plus points which I have mentioned above means I would give a thumbs up for any one looking for a electric shaver which will do a splendid job to start each day with a BANG! I've never used any electric shaver before at all. Due to the fact that most of my friends that uses electric shaver would have skin rash or bumps around their neck. But after I used Philips Men Shaver, I was surprise how clean the shave was. No bumps or irritation at all. And the Trimmer that comes along in the box does a good job of trimming my moustache and beard. Highly recommend this to first timer to try.

Just received aqua touch shaver on 05/0702018 . Unbox it found shaver look trendy, light n easy to handle. I never used electric shaver n this is my first time to try it n feel excited. First tme i used it n the feeling a little bit nervous coz electric shaver different compare to manual. At last i fall in love with it coz easy to use, fast, user friendly for first time user can shave with confident, smooth n clean shaver. Also easy to clean. Safe time n shaver also feel no pain. Will used it daily n love it.
