There is phrasw happy wife happy life I brough this after wife complaining the our previous philips steam generator GC7840/26 are not at their peak performance (which is repair these are way cheeapper 😪) This model are way better as steamer generated are at 8.0bar compared previous; which is good for ironing linen shirt!

This is a fantastic iron. It gets hot enough to remove the crinkles in clothes but does not burn them and there is no need to change the temperature settings between different kinds of fabrics. I love it.

Best sream station iron I have ever purchased. Had it now for 3 years. No expensive filters to replace. Easy to clean. Never missed a beat. Easily glides with no effort. Love the maximum steam option

I have just purchased the 8000 series steam iron and am completely blown away by it. It is so easy to use and the results are outstanding. I used to loath doing our ironing, but not anymore. I finished our full basket of ironing in no time at all and the results from minimal effort are exceptional. It knocked out serious creases from linen with a simple glide over. Yes it’s a lot to outlay for an iron, but you will be rewarded with gaining time back in your busy schedule and beautifully crisp and fresh clothes.

This is the best iron that I have ironed with. Its lightweight and very efficient. The best feature is being able to use steam continuously without having to use shots of steam.

This is an outstanding iron, that has absolutely changed my ironing life. I've had this iron for 15 months now. It's so easy to use and so much quicker than a conventional iron and the results are far better than I could've ever imagined. I love that you can do horizontal or vertical ironing and can't burn any items. Highly recommend to anyone that does ironing

I’ve been using the previous model for around twelve years until it recently died. Well this model has exceeded my previous model. Fantastic that you don’t need to set the temperature & it won’t burn any item if the iron is left on. I love the extra steam option…great for linen.

I had a Tefal iron station before, was good but no comparison to this Philips 7000 series, absolutely love it.

I love ironing, but hated my old iron. I’d been trying to work out what model to get for months. I ended up getting an 8000 series for many reason. Firstly it turns itself off. This is a big win for me. We’ve had the iron left on all day to many times. I have teenage sons that need to iron school uniforms and work clothes. The work shirts need a low temp and something always goes wrong. I’d go to use the old iron after them for linen and have to struggle to get the setting right. This is no longer and issue. Turn it on and I’m ready to go. The large removable water tank is great. It’s so easy to empty after use. I love that the iron locks onto the base for transporting the iron around the house. The auto movement mode is great. The set and forget. On the run usability of this iron is fantastic.
