This Philips hair dryer is really really good. It brings saloon to your home! you can be hairstylist in no time! As a person with a hijab, drying my hair is really important before wearing a hijab (just imagine wearing a hijab with wet hair...). luckily, this hair dryer does it job in less than 10 minutes! it has very powerful fans. I really love the coolshot button which blow cold air, perfect for hair styling. After trying this, I told my sister about it, and now she's getting one for herself! we just love this hair dryer so much!

First impression of the hair dryer would be it has a sleek matte black finish exterior. Once I held the hair dryer up, it was a little heavy to my liking. Comes with 2 nozzle attachments for different styling needs. One of the best features that I have to highlight is the extra long cord which comes in oh-so-handy. You never need to worry about finding the right spot that has a plug and mirror nearby to dry your hair. Also, when drying my hair it was easy to move around and not worry about the hair dryer coming unplugged or tugging on the plug itself. I also noticed that there was a little holder to hang the dryer up which is a pleasant yet useful surprise. The hair dryer has a few different heat and air functions. I particularly enjoyed using the TP function because the dryer regulates the air and senses when the heat is too hot and automatically switches to a lower heat option. I like how the dryer cools off and allows for the hair not to heat up tremendously that could result in hair damage. This also means when you blow dry your hair, you do not sweat and heat up with the process since the air regulates itself systematically. The 2 nozzles provided came in handy in creating multiple hair styling needs. I usually try to straighten my hair while blow drying it and the smaller/ flatter nozzle did the job extremely well and quickly. It focused and directed all the air to the style I wanted without creating any frizz. However, I am yet to see how the nozzle attachment lasts through time and usage as most of the nozzles always expand with use and does not adhere to the hair dryer head anymore. So far with about 4 consecutive uses the nozzle attachment is still very sturdy and attaches with ease. One downside is definitely the weight of the dryer. I have long thick hair and after about 10-15 minutes of blow drying, I did notice a strain in my arm. However, I do not mind sacrificing a little strain if I am able to protect my hair with a good hair dryer. I really like the matte black exterior but I did notice that the handle part is made out of a different material to enhance better hand grip. After a few uses, the grip was attracting oil and dirt (from my heat protectant spray and hair oil). At first I thought that is it, there goes my pretty hair dryer but all I needed to do was wipe it off with a wet towel and the grip was back to its perfect self. Overall, an extremely good hair dryer with amazing air and heat functions to protect the hair.

I love how this hair dryer is gentle yet powerful. As my hair is very fine and brittle, this Philips pro hair dryer allows me to control the temperature and the speed of it. Another plus point is that it dries my hair really fast! Save me so much time in the morning, allowing me to go to work with nicely saloon styled hair and gives me the luxurious feeling the whole day long.

The design is cool which is black in color with red color. Nanometer technology help me dry my hair in the same time protect the nutrient of my hair. I can feel my hair become softly as I can swept my hair without using a comb. There are 3 setting for hot,cold,normal air and 2 level for the speed. I can dry my wethair by using the hot and first speed, after 5 mins I can feel my hair become dry so I pressed the cold button to cold down my hair and make a hairstyle. The net design at the back can help me to avoid my hair suck in the hair dryer.

I have a confession... before this i had only used cheap hairdryers. Lightweight puny mediocre warm air puffers. So I had given up on hairdryers. Which is not good as then i would have damp hair underneath my headscarf, which is unhealthy for the hair and scalp. So the day it arrived, i had just bathed after an exercise class, and we were to head out to lunch and hubby was bugging me to hurry up. So i quickly unboxed, taking a second to take in the sleek matte black with fire red accents, and the solid but not heavy weight that shows it means business! I fired it up on the highest setting, did a quick blow dry (being careful not to get it too close - it did get impressively hot!), and my hair got dried in 2 mins flat! I have since used it again to dry my hair using the moderate ThermoProtect setting, which is kind to hair and still fast drying, while ionic conditioning has effectively reduced the static effect of blow drying. I dont usually style my hair, but i just had to test out the concentrators. So i went and bought a round brush, and gave myself a very professional-looking straight blowout, finished with a blast of cold air that locked in the style and gave a lovely shine. In conclusion, the Philips HPS910 is definitely in a league above other hair dryers.
