Hairclipper series 5000Washable hair clipper

At first I was considering the cheaper 3000 series, but after some thinking, this 5000 series has more value since it has a wider (by around 1-1.5 inch) trimmer width. Also, it comes with a more modern design as well as turbo mode (not that I will use it as after testing, even normal mode is sufficient). Besides that, this series trimmer is washable and the razor doesn't need to be oiled at all. I had my wife trim my hair for me and she's only doing it the first time and was scared. After some convincing, she even said it's too easy lol! The only thing this product is lacking is the nose/ear trimmer tool (head). That's all from me. Overall, totally recommended!

Sharp blades. Charges very fast. Easy to use and clean. I don’t need to visit the barber during COVID.

There are so many clippers on the market that choosing one is difficult. I picked this Philips machine for a number of reasons: it was cordless, it could be charged in an hour, it looked comfortable to hold, its blades didn't need oiling and it was supposedly designed in such a way that it wouldn't jam. I attempted my first ever DIY haircut this morning, expecting that it would be a bit of an ordeal: I had six months of thatch to get rid of, and I'm probably the clumsiest person on the planet. In the event, the process was entirely painless and glitch-free. Leaning over a sheet of newspaper on my kitchen table, it took me about an hour to achieve a 10mm cut that was reasonably uniform; someone less cackhanded could probably have done the job in a quarter of the time.

Just received today at noon. Done myself a deserving haircut after 40 days of lockdown with irritating long thick hair. Excellent invention by Philips even from a beginner like me to use without hesitation as its seemless with constant power. Value for money product especially since used this product on my 14 year old son too. Thanks for those inventors and peoples at Philips.

I am very satisfied with my Philips Hairclipper; it performs excellently and is easy to use.

Although I have only had this clipper a short while, every use has been a positive experience. I regular use it to cut the hair of five family members. It cuts well, is easy to hold and operate, simple to clean and only produces a low hum. My last Philips clipper lasted over 10 years without any issues and were in a similar, relative price bracket back then so am hopeful that these will do the same. A great unit for a cordless clipper, in its price bracket, with combs that enable hair to be picked up a trimmed efficiently.

I have used the clippers twice now and I am very happy with them. My first experience was a steep learning however I am now quite confident and somewhat proficient. The comb attachments are easy to use and with the adjustment for hair length very simple. The cutter comb is safe and sharp. There is no pulling and as fast as I go they effortlessly cut the hair at a perfect even length.
