I love this iron so much that I would recommend to all mothers out there, this is a MUST HAVE. I have no regret n ironing is not a tiring task anymore!!

After two years of using this, the unit has leaked twice. The first time we got it repaired within the warranty period. The leak reoccur this time round, at the front part of the unit and we always have to prepare a plastic container underneath, should it leak whenever. And the light indicator to show the unit is ready to be used is already out. We take good care of the unit, putting it far from reach of children and de-calc-ing the unit when necessary. Otherwise, it is easy to use because it will adjust the heat according to the kind of material you iron. Need not worry about having holes on your favourite outfit anymore!

I wonder why the steam button cannot be turn on and allow the steam to flow, which the GC9246 has to be keep pressing while ironing. The previous model was Great, but for this, it is pretty dissapointed with the function. Both buttons are not user friendly as to keep pressing the button to disperse the steam.

using 2 weeks and feeling very good to handle but aware about quality iron board (FOC) supply by philip will damage the cable. Can service center philip give an answers about this issue.

Please be careful when using the Iron with the FOC iron board given by Phillip. The iron board plastic have sharp edges that can damaged your Iron cable after using more than 6 months.
