It helps me a lot to iron all my family's clothes all at once since I love to do ironing during the weekend. This iron is a great helper as it irons faster (save time and energy). I would recommend this iron to be used in your household.

I whip through my ironing in no time. I'm a nurse and sometimes the uniforms are really difficult to iron but not with this - I'm good to go in just a couple of minutes!

I had an issue with the calc clean on this iron. However I have to say the service was fantastic to get this fixed. Very impressed with he service.

This steam iron has been the best steam iron I have had.It has been used extensively for home and work with theatrical costumes. It is light in weight and has been very reliable and easy to maintain. The best thing is that Philips provides an excellent after sale service for repair and maintenance should you need it.

I telephoned Philips Help Dept. when I experienced problems with the iron not generating steam. After discussion with the Philips Representative we agreed that the product was out of warranty. The representative came back to me with a one off free repair as a gesture of goodwill. The iron has now been repaired, and is back with me in full working order. Thanks Philips

I have never used a Steam Generator before, and now I am wondering why, it makes Ironing very easy, as the iron is light to use and the steam just keeps coming. I wont say that I will enjoy doing the ironing, but it will make the task, much easer.

For many of years in our family we have been using classic irons with temperature control. We have lots of ironing to do every week as myself and my fiance wear office outfits to work everyday so as you can imagine shirts are a nightmare to iron, plus school uniforms for our child. On an average week it takes us roughly an two and a half hours to get these bits sorted. Philips Compact Steam Generator Iron saves us a lot of time, at first I was skeptic about no temperature control, I did not believe this iron can be smart enough to adjust to other fabrics without burning them. In practice it works perfectly and I don't worry that I am going to damage any of the sensitive fabrics, it works as well with silk and jeans as it does on bedding or boxers without messing about with temperature control. Very clever!! Our old steam generator iron was much heavier than the Philips so straightaway I found it much more pleasurable to use, Another very big positive is not needing to refill it before or after the process because water compartment is very large. Secondly quality of ironing massively exceeded my expectation, I'm not gonna lie ironing shirts is not my favorite task however It is much simpler with the Philips "Easy Glide Action" it's just like a magic, just a few moves and the job is done. We have a large ironing board so size is not a problem for me but for some people they may have to upgrade their boards before considering a purchase. It has quite a large base which is linked to the steam generator. I love the design, it looks nice and it has plenty of modern functions. It tells me when it needs cleaning, and also cleans it's self, less work for me so happy days! In case you were wondering the cleaning process only takes a few minutes. I Would 100% recommend this product to everyone starting with my family and friends, worth every penny!!

This is the best iron I have ever used. It's easy to store with being compact, being a smaller iron I thought it would have taken more time to iron and be less powerful....... i was wrongI!! The temperature is perfect, the water barrel is big so I don't need to keep refilling, it comes with a descaling plate which would help the iron last even longer. The iron heats quick and I can zap through my ironing fast only needing to iron one side of the clothing. Well done Phillips!!
