Three years ago i got an electric shaver widely used in most barber shop. It cuts well but is heavy, wired and rather expensive. I then tried the Philips 1000 series last year and liked it because it was wireless and light, making it easy to shave my beard but the shaving head was relatively small, resulting in a longer time to shave the entirety of my beard, especially when it is longer and bushier. But boy oh boy when i got the BT3206, it struck the right balance between performance and convinience. The wider head makes it easier and faster to shave my entire beard. Philips claims 30% faster for this model but for me it was almost 40% faster (maybe because I'm so used to shaving) The stronger motor seems to have more power to cut through a thick beard but of course you can't compare it to a professional grade barber shaver which i used before. I still consider it a plus because it is much much cheaper than a wireless professional grade shaver. Lastly, I was happy to report I did not get a single cut while shaving with this model. Conclusion Its a well built product. I've used a couple of other electric shavers but I probably will use this 9 out of 10 times when i want a quick and easy shave. The 2 year warranty is a bonus.

Hi, As bald guy, keeping my hair well trimmed as short as possible by having knive shave head finishes kind together with well design facial hair that look clean and suitable length depends on their position to give the illusion of sharp jaw line is pretty hard and expensive as well where the hairs need to be trimmed regularly once or twice a week. So I personally get my self few hair clippers since few years ago mostly the cordless version, so I can shave and trim my facial hair whenever I need, instead of spending my money for the same services. This product from Phillips, make me fall in love with so much as i realized the design for this device perfertly nice for my grip to and so light in weight which smoothly run on my head. Surprisingly the blade position for this device is amazing that resulting smooth cutting process and dont left much injuries or cuts on my skin and scalps as what my other clippers always did. And 10 different length setting just simply amazing as the gap of 0.5mm giving me the freedom to trimmed my facial hair with different style by playing with the hair length. On the other hand, with stainless steel blade, I dont have to worry much with rusty blade where i need to apply oil as coating everytime Im done using is as I always did before to prevent the blade getting rusty which finally ended up with the hair clippers got stuck or even broken. Another bonus, less noise coming out from which make you feel completely different sensation compared to what we always had with cheper hair clippers or trimmers. Thanks you. 2 Thumbs up guys!

Philips BT 3206 comes with 2 years Global Warranty. This global warranty is important for people who roam a lot. A set back to whom life is constantly on roaming is it comes with no pouch or bag. However the slickness of the design can fit any man's toiletries bag. Unboxing it reveals a beard trimmer, small cleaning brush, a charger and a manual. I really like the size, the design which fit nicely in my hand. White is a good colour and it carry the cleanliness image. Trimmer comes with only a comb. You don't need many type of comb because it comes with an adjustable length setting. The trimmer has 10 lock-in length settings, 0.5–10 mm with 1 mm precision. I was impressed with the precision of the length setting. The lowest 0.5mm resulted in a nice short beard (almost close to a clean shave using a shaver). "No oil needed" - This statement is bold but true. You don't need any oil it was proven as a maintenance free beard trimmer. The blade made from a high grade of stainless steel. The head is detachable from the body makes the cleaning easy. It was extremely easy to clean the blade and inside of the trimmer using the provided cleaning brush. Battery life is 45 minutes as claimed. I don't have a chance to test. However the charging time is longer than usual; 10 hours is needed for a full charge. I don't have a chance to try it too since the battery is not fully discharge. Operation of the beard trimmer is cordless. I don't know whether I can operate it while it is connected to the ac power. To be honest, I have tried the beard trimmer onto any surface on my body which is hairy. The result was fantastic and the feeling was good. It is easy and clean. Vibration and noise came from the beard trimmer was not bad at all. I am not sure whether the beard trimmer is water proof / or you can operate it in the shower. I don't see anything mentioned in the manual or box saying it can tolerate the water/shower. Overall, two thumbs up. It is really worth the money to spend. You pay for a good beard trimmer. It is suitable for an Asian since people here do not have much hair like the middle east people. My verdict: Easy to operate, superb result and worth the money spent.

This beard trimmer has definitely proven to be a great groomer for daily use. I've used it four times since I got it last week and it effortlessly groomed my beard each time. As someone who likes to try out new beard styles frequently, this trimmer will certainly be a robust tool for daily use. Design - What I liked most about this beard trimmer was how sturdy it felt in my hands. The grip was very comfortable and fitted my palm nicely. This comes from its ergonomic design. The rotating speed knob was easy to use and clicked into the set setting smoothly with a range of 0.5 to 10mm . Performance - The stainless steel blades were very sharp which made grooming much more precise and free from nicks and tugs. When trimming with the comb attachment, I used the 3mm setting. On the packaging, it is stated that this trimmer cuts 30% than a previous model. Based on my experience using this product, it did trim faster than groomers I've used before. Speed is very important when it comes to grooming as slow trimmers can cause pulling of hair follicles which can lead to irritation so the BT3206 trimmer provided a effortlessly and fast trim with no irritation. The best part about this trimmer is that oiling the blades is not needed and that the blades will stay sharp over time. Cleaning - The blades can be removed from the body of the trimmer by just pulling the blades outwards with little force. This was more convenient as it was much easier to rinse the blades and the plastic comb attachment under running water after using the trimmer. Any hair trimmings left of the head of the trimmer were brushed off with the cleaning brush provided in the box. Charging and Battery Life - The beard trimmer gave an uninterrupted 45 minutes of usage time from a 10-hour charge. I thing that was very useful was the charge indicator which is located on the adapter that turns green to indicate that the trimmer is charging. As I typically take less than 10 minutes to groom my beard, the trimmer showed no difference in speed for the four times I've used it on the single charge last week. This impressed me a lot as the trimmer's power was very constant throughout all the usages. Overall, I am very satisfied with this product and I really do recommend this trimmer to anyone who grooms their beard regularly and needs a beard trimmer that is precise, efficient and easy to use & maintain!

I've been using my Philips Beard Trimmer for about a month so far. It is so easy to use and has a heap of size settings to get just the right length on my beard. What I love most is that it can be used cordless or corded. It is perfect for me and I love trimming my beard each day now. Love my Philips products !!!
