From penang Malaysia ; bought it the end of 2018, so Aug 2019 Msia got severe haze coming from Indonesia deforestation; the LED reading for air quality can be up to 150 to 250,exactly the same as what told daily by forecasting;I previously thought the LED reading is for bluffing, while it's not, amazed! Having severe rhinitis, the machine helps up, price wise cheaper than amway or other brand in market, does it's job well,sleep better if on it, thus repurchase any new one during covid time june 2020;unfortunately, the 2nd one spoil upon purchasing, sent for waranty & it was now doing well; own two 3000i now;thank you Philips for this great product!

I have been testing out this air purifier for almost 2 weeks since the day that I received the VIP pack. There are two main places that I tested out- the living room and the bedroom. At the first glance, this air purifier has a simple but stylish design with touchscreen panel on top. Assembling the purifier is very easy and straightforward from the manual. Unlike the other brand of air purifier that I am currently being using, this Philips AC3529 has double filter- The HEPA filter and carbon filter which to me is a good features of this air purifier as it allows extra air filtration for a better indoor air quality control. Philips does not simply highlight this air purifier as "intelligent" for no solid reason, and yes they are right! I am totally in awe when I first start up this air purifier and i am impressed with the ability of this purifier to be connected to an apps called "Air Matters" that can be downloaded from App Store/ Google Play. This features allows us to control and monitor the air purifier anytime, anywhere only at the tips of the finger- Huge Bonus Point! The control panel is easy to use and totally user friendly- you can even figure out the features without even have to refer to the manual. After being tested for almost 2 weeks, I could see an improvement in my kids overall health as my eldest daughter is suffering multitrigger wheeze. I could see that her runny nose and wheezing sound decreasing after I run this air purifier for almost 2 weeks. My second child, who is having flu and cough at the time i received this purifier, had shown improvement in just 3 days. Her cough stops after 3 days with the help of this purifier. This air purifier is very sensitive towards the air quality changes and the light indicator will instantly changes to red color whenever I do my cooking (I believe it detects the airborne from the cooking) even the purifier was running in the bedroom which was quite far from my kitchen! It took around 5-10 minutes for the light changes back to violet-blue color. This shows that the air purifier is so reliable and powerful in controlling the air quality! The only drawbacks that I can point out from this purifier is the maintenance and the heavy body of it. Other than that, I love this purifier so much! Overall, i am totally satisfied and amazed with the job it does and I am strongly recommend this purifier for every household especially if you have sensitive family members.

When the package first arrive, I was quite shocked with the size since my previous air purifier is half the size. I was quite worry if this air purifier is either too big or too heavy to be lifted around the house. I'm glad I was wrong. It's quite light despite the tall body, and it is slim and sleek, looks good in small area. I had chronic bronchitis, so I'm prone to dust. I'll cough my lungs out every night and every morning, especially during the night its hard to sleep because of the non-stop coughing. I tried if this air purifier would actually help me, I switch it on every night before I go to bed and put on two hours timer. And how thankful I am now for the good quality sleep, I cough less, almost had none since I used this Philips air purifier. I love how silent but powerful it is, and the option to switch off the light so I could sleep on without disturbance. I vacuum clean my room at least twice every week, and thought the room is clean enough. Boy, I was wrong. Four days after using the Philips air purifier I checked on the first filter, it was quite dusty. I can't imagine that much dust I've inhaled everyday without the air purifier before. (picture 1) Especially love the double filter, NanoProtect filter which absorbs the odour around the room and HEPA-filter. Now, I keep the air purifier on for at least two hours during the day and another two hours when I'm getting ready to sleep. The air feels so much cleaner now compared to before. The PM indicator on the LED display says it all. (picture 2) The only thing I wish for this air purifier to have is remote sensor like infra-red or any other way to connect the device, because I can't connect to the Air Matters app with this air purifier since I don't have a router. I only have my own phone data. It's so sad to not actually fully utilised the function in the app.

I am very lucky that have an opportunity to try on this air purifier. Today is the 2nd day I use it, and it is very good. Help to clean my room air, improve the air quality. My husband used to be sneezing upon wake up in the morning, after I on the air purifier I did not hear he sneezing already. The air pollution had been reduced. This air purifier has a glossy white finish. It has a clean and minimalist look. The unit feels solid to the touch. Lifting is easy with the large handle that looks like it is a part of the design and not a handle on the top back side. It comes with filters in place – pre-filter, activated carbon filter and HEPA filter. Just open it, unpack and place it into the air purifier before using. The display is on top of the unit. It is made of black plastic and is prone to smudging. Fingerprints become very visible on the display but you can wipe it off with a cloth. The touch sensitive ‘buttons’ displayed well on the black background and respond well to touch. The hole in the top part is the air quality light indicator aka the color ring. The color ring offers easy feedback on the air quality. Red light for very dirty air, purple light for moderate quality air and blue for clean air. I placed this unit in my pets’ room because one of my cats has been wheezing lately. Brought her to vet for checkup and treatment but the wheezing didn’t stop. So, I decided to place this air purifier in her room. When I turned it on, the color ring turned purple, indicating moderate quality air. Within an hour, the color ring turned blue. Her frequency of wheezing has reduced and she is able to sleep soundly whenever she sleeps now. There is another air quality indicator. It is found on the side panel near the middle of the unit. It offers real time benchmark of the indoor air quality using respiratory PM2.5 indicator. No specific info can be found in the manual, but you can always Google it. Mine registered around PM10 but dropped to 1 or 2 after an hour or so. I can track and control the air quality in my house anytime, anywhere with Air Matters app. I downloaded it from Play Store. With the app, I can control the device mode and fan speed. If the air quality is getting worse, I’d get a notification. It is convenient because I don’t have to purposely walk to the air purifier just to change the mode or fan speed. There is a child lock function where you can lock the control panel. The touch interface is very sensitive – it responds to any touch (when I use a cloth to wipe smudges off) and even makes a warning beeps in child lock mode. The lifespan of the filters depend on your usage. In my case, I’d change the activated carbon filter and HEPA filter once a year because I have pets at home, besides my family. It is stated in the manual that once the replace filter messages

The digital remote control is easy to use . Very quite mode with easy digital function remote control is very easy to install to use . The air purified filter is very easy to take out to wash and easy to replace it in again to use after the filter is full of dirty . Five easy mode and speed include the fan mode and easy to use . Before try this air purified my mom got asthma and my child got terrible allergy on her skin .
