BrillianceCurved UltraWide display with USB-C dock

Just arrived today 13/08/2018, superb monitor in terms of sharpness and colour. Not too great viewing angle but it's expected for VA panel. This becomes significant if you sit 60cm or closer to the monitor as you will be viewing the corners at an angle. Straight on the panel is perfect, but at around 20degrees+ it starts to show a glow similar to IPS glow. What really surprised me is the Speakers! They are on par with my 15inch MacBook Pro's internal speakers, which is really decent already. Bezels aren't as small as seen in the pictures, doesn't bother me at all, but they are about 90mm thick on top and sides (the frame it self is very thin). For some reason, mac's night shift feature doesn't work on this monitor. But overall super happy with it, the usb-c dock is perfect for type-c laptop users. If type-c dock and 34 Ultrawide is important to you, this is the best choice at the moment!

After having used dual 27" WQHD monitors for the last six years, I wondered how I would go using a single curved monitor like this one, and I'm very agreeably surprised at how easy the transition has been. I've had no issues at all so far, and can't fault the monitor's performance at all. Sound from the built-in speakers is at least as good as I had from the old monitors and perfectly adequate for what I need. I'm using the DisplayPort input with my GTX1660 Super graphics card and the presentation is rock-steady with a custom preset refresh rate of 90Hz. I have the USB Hub connected but haven't used it yet so can't comment on speed. It's a pity the downstream ports aren't more easily accessible but I can see them being useful for attaching external hard drives semi-permanently. Use of the OSD is a bit fiddly via the rear-mounted joystick, but still useable.
