IUTA is one of Germany’s largest engineering institute in the field of energy and environmental technology. It is an approved agency for measuring emission and exposure according to the German § § 26, 28 Federal Pollution Control Act, and is authorized as a testing organization for the purposes of the German Clean Air Act 126.96.36.199.3 and 188.8.131.52.3.
The work areas can be divided into the following five main themes:
• Aerosols & Fine Dust
• Functional surfaces
• Future energy supply
• Highly toxic substances
Due to the large bandwidth and high complexity of these work areas, R&D projects are usually carried out by interdisciplinary teams of employees with special knowledge of mechanical and plant engineering, power engineering, chemical engineering, chemistry analysis or measurement and control technology.
