About IUTA IUTA is one of Germany’s largest engineering institute in the field of energy and environmental technology. It is an approved agency for measuring emission and exposure according to the German § § 26, 28 Federal Pollution Control Act, and is authorized as a testing organization for the purposes of the German Clean Air Act 5.4.8.10.3 and 5.4.8.11.3. The work areas can be divided into the following five main themes: • Aerosols & Fine Dust • Nanotechnology • Functional surfaces • Future energy supply • Highly toxic substances Due to the large bandwidth and high complexity of these work areas, R&D projects are usually carried out by interdisciplinary teams of employees with special knowledge of mechanical and plant engineering, power engineering, chemical engineering, chemistry analysis or measurement and control technology.
