During upgrade my Philips player goes to recovery mode

There is nothing to worry about. This is the normal procedure if you upgrade from a relatively older Firmware version to the latest one. Just follow these steps to go to recovery mode: 1. Back up the music and data files on your player to the computer. 2. Disconnect your player. 3. Press and hold the play/pause key and immediately connect the player to the computers USB port. 4. Keep holding the play/pause key until the next screen appears. Press “start” to upgrade the Firmware.
