My Philips SmartPro Compact Robot's error light flashes

Published on 2021-07-04

If the warning indicator of your Philips Robot flashes, this can have several causes:

If one or both wheels of your Philips Robot are stuck, first; set the on/off switch to 'off'; then remove the fluff, hair, thread or wire that is caught around the wheel suspension.

If one or both side brushes are stuck, the solution is to simply clean them.

When the top cover is not present or is not closed properly, your Philips Robot does not work. Place the top cover on your Philips Robot properly.

The bumper of your Philips Robot can get stuck. In this case, press the on/off button to stop the appliance, then lift the appliance so that its bumper comes free.

Press the on/off button to stop your Philips Robot, then press the on/off button again to make the appliance resume cleaning normally.

This causes the robot to move in an unusual pattern

Solution: Press the on/off button and then move the robot to a lighter coloured piece of the floor

If the problem continues to occur on lighter coloured floors, contact us.

This triggers the drop-off sensors and causes the robot to move in an unusual pattern

Close the curtains to block sunlight from entering the room

See article 'How to insert the rechargeable battery' for detailed instructions

Set the power switch to 'on'
