Philips offers immersive product experience to Penangites with new Brand Store


Consumers in northern Peninsular Malaysia can now get more up-close and hands-on with Philips’ innovative product portfolio

Pulau Pinang, Malaysia – Royal Philips (NYSE: PHG, AEX: PHIA) Good news for Penangites! Philips Malaysia has expanded its network of Philips Brand Stores in Malaysia to Penang today, with the official launch of its first Brand Store in the state, which is also the first Brand Store in northern Malaysia. The store was launched by Dato’ Abdul Halim Hussain, Penang State Executive Councillor for Domestic and International Trade, Consumer Affairs and Entrepreneur Development. Also present at the launch were Mr Muhammad Ali Jaleel, Country Manager for Philips Malaysia and Mr G. Singh, Chief Executive Officer of My Futureworld Sdn Bhd. The 969 square feet store located in Gurney Plaza here is a partnership between Philips Malaysia and My Futureworld Sdn Bhd.
 

With this new Philips Brand Store, shoppers in Penang can enjoy an immersive shopping experience, getting up-close and hands-on with the full range of innovative Philips products. Customers will be able to touch and feel the products, understand the key features and benefits, and even test some of them. If they have any questions, the knowledgeable store personnel are always ready to help them make an informed choice..
