Philips Hosts Yee Sang for Children from House of Joy

A total of 40 children from House of Joy ushered in the Lunar New Year of the Ox with Philips through a sumptuous Yee Sang dinner at West Lake Garden Chinese Restaurant, Sunway Resort & Spa Hotel.

 

Country Leadership Management team from Philips Malaysia who were present for the dinner were CEO - Lee Weng Seong, GM Philips Consumer Lifestyle - Eddie Ong, GM Philips Healthcare – Desmond Chan, GM Philips Lighting –Lai Ming Kong, CFO – Serena Ang and HR Director, Azlena Hamid.

The children also received ‘ANG POWs’ in the form of cash and gifts.

 

Philips other community related projects include two kindergartens in rural Malaysia, namely in Kuala Kangsar and Batu Arang as well as its Philips CeTree Mobile Energy Efficiency Showhome which travels to primary schools in Malaysia, raising awareness and education on energy efficiencies.
