- Muhammad Ali Jaleel to assume position of Country Manager for Philips Group of Companies in Malaysia
- Ali will also lead as General Manager for Consumer Lifestyle, Philips Malaysia
Kuala Lumpur – Royal Philips (NYSE:PHG, AEX: PHIA) today announced Muhammad Ali Jaleel is appointed as the Country Manager for Philips Group of Companies in Malaysia, effective January 2 2014. Ali will also head the Consumer Lifestyle sector as the General Manager. Ali succeeds Naeem Shahab Khan, who has been promoted to manage the Philips Consumer Luminaires Category growth markets based out of China.

Ali will be responsible for identifying opportunities and growing the company through its various business units. He will provide leadership across his team to create winning strategies to ensure that Philips sustains its leadership position among the top brands in the country. He is concurrently responsible for the Consumer Lifestyle business operations as the General Manager.
